The main idea that illustrates the mind is perception. Perception perception can not act in any vision only the mind can do that. Also, perception does relate to irrefutable truth by demonstrating that it is undeniable that the mind is acting for the senses and thinking is not an act of imagination or vision. Descartes judge’s the people outside his window as men because it is undeniable to confuse a male to a female. Also, he thinks in his mind to realize what the characteristics of a man are to see he is a man. In addition, the body senses can be limited and doubted when looking at a strange figure while on the other hand the mind is unlimited of thinking what the strange image could be without using any of the 5 senses. In conclusion, Descartes believed that the sense of seeing can't be reliable, but what is seen can be doubted.
