Into chapter 6 Hazel and Gus are on a picnic during the after noon on a sculpture. This scene is important becuase it is when Gus uses his wish to anounce the possibility for them both to go to Amsterdam to visit both Hazel's and Gus's favorite author of the book An Imperial Affliction. In this scene it does not create any conflicts or complications. This scene also does not show both of the characters characteristics. And it does not show any theme of a Universal lesson or truth about life. Also, When Gus announces this great news that they are both going to Amsterdam she becomes overwhelmed with excitement that she is finally going to met her favorite author after she has already used up her unuseful wish. This scene takes place in rising action when the author of the book An Imperial Affliction invites them both to go to Amsterdam to explain the ending of his book. In the book is states," But I also have an interest in meeting Peter Van Houten, and it wouldn't make sense to meet him without the girl who introduced me to his book"(89). In other words since Gus also has the interest of meeting his recomended author by Hazel he thinks both of them should since Hazel is more interested in finding answers and she was the one who recommended his book to Gus. To finish off I think Hazel and Gus will find answers.

Further on to chapters 3-4 in the book The fault in our Stars Hazel and Gus are beginning to know each other more by reading each others favorite book and sharing both of their perpectives about the two different types of books. This is happening when hazel was talking about her favorite novel to Gus while on the other hand Gus decided to show her his favorite novel while they where both in the basemet. In chapters 3-4 this scene is so important becuase they ware getting closer to each other by ther perspectives on each others favorite book. In this important scene it does not create complications nor does it create conflict between the two. This is an important scene becuase it shows more of the characteristics of Hazel's after she had finised the book she got from Gus. In addition, this is also an improtant scene when Gus's character has more characteristics after reading Hazel' book. Both Hazel and Gus character react to this scene by getting to know each others character more. Exposition is taking place in the scene when Hazel and Gus both have the same character before the action begins to start. According to the story the fault in our stars it states,"Then I'd better hang up and start reading"(52). In this quote is shows that Hazel and Gus are getting along through both of thier books. To finish off i think that Hazel and Gus will become more than just best friends.
So far chapters 1-2 in book The Fault In Our Stars the main characters are Hazel, Isaac, Augustus. In this book the role of Hazel who is 16 and she is not able to breath due to her lack of lungs so she has to carry an oxygen tank to provide for her to breath. Another character is Isaac who is 17 has to ability to see for know, but further on to chapter 2 he is getting ready to have surgery on his eyes due to the other fake eye causing problems of vision. One last character is Augustus who is 17 and he has cancer in his bone. So far in chapters one and two Hazel, Isaac, Augustus have been static. They are all static becuase they don't act and do things in different ways. The author John Green of the book The Fault In Our Stars it states,"My name is Hazel.I'm sixteen. Thyroid with mets in my lungs.I'm okey"(11). This demostrates that hazel's role in this story is to have the problem throughout this story.
